Easter Bingo!
Us as Tanyfron School Council, wanted to celebrate Easter by creating an Easter Bingo for all families and pupils to enjoy. We would like to thank Tesco and Asda in Wrexham as well as Terry Burgin Builders, for all of the fantastic donations we received. It was a brilliant event enjoyed by all, we raised a awesome amount of £963, which will go towards our school yard project. (See school council impact.)
Spooktacular Day
To celebrate Halloween we created ‘Spooktacular Day’, we made chocolate apples and other tasty treats to sell. Key stage 2 made games to play for all the children to enjoy. We enjoyed spooky games in the morning and a disco in the afternoon. What a wonderful day it was, raising over £300!
We would like to say a huge thank you to Tesco Wrexham for the donations towards our Spooktacular Day. It is most appreciated and we look forward to working with you again.
Sponsored Walk
To raise funds to improve our school yard, we arranged a ‘Sponsored Walk’. Key stage 2 walked over 5 miles starting at Minera Lead mines and following the Clywedog path. We had a fantastic day and raised over £2000.
