School Meals

There are many things to think about on your child’s behalf, and what they are going to eat when they’re at school can be one of them. As with all schools your child(ren) can choose between a packed lunch provided from home or a school meal/packed lunch provided by the Wrexham Council Schools Catering team.

It is important that children are eating a healthy balanced diet as this helps improve their concentration levels, while providing essential nutrients to help with all of their growing bodies needs.

The Wrexham catering team continually work hard to provide your child(ren) a variety of tasty and nutritious meals. Each year the new menu is rigorously checked to ensure that the food served in all WCBC schools meets strict food and nutrition legislation set by the Welsh Government.

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic for those parents/guardians wishing to order a school meal for their child(ren) the school meals service have provided the following two week rolling menu from September 1st 2020.

Please prepay for your child’s meal via the online payment system at www.wrexham.gov.uk/pay or more specifically https://www.civicaepay.co.uk/WrexhamEstore/estore/default/Catalog/Index?newSearch=False

The price of school dinners are as follows:

Foundation Phase & Key Stage 2 – £2.40 per day and £12.00 for a week.

If you are providing your child with a packed lunch, please be mindful that we are a “healthy school” so here are some tips on making their packed lunches healthier:-
